PROJECT SUMMARY
PASYDIXE is a partner in ACT1ON, a European Erasmus+ project implemented by a consortium of five international partners. The project aims to strengthen the role of vocational education and training professionals in preventing and managing workplace violence in the HORECA sector.
ACT1ON promotes greater awareness of workplace violence, inclusion, multiculturalism and solidarity among managers, employees, trainers and other HORECA stakeholders.
The project provides HORECA managers with practical tools to develop and improve their occupational health and safety policies and management practices. Particular attention is given to workplace violence, third-party violence, and exclusion or discrimination based on ethnicity or cultural background.
ACT1ON also supports positive cultural change within hospitality organizations through practical and accessible solutions that do not require significant financial, time or human resources.
More broadly, the project seeks to:
• promote inclusive, healthy and safe employment in the HORECA sector;
• improve working conditions and make the sector more attractive to employees;
• support individuals affected by the emotional, social and psychological consequences of workplace violence;
• prevent potential incidents; and
• contribute to a violence-free, inclusive and multicultural HORECA sector across Europe.
